Situated on the banks of river Kali, Dharchula is 96 kms from Pithoragarh. Dharchula
is an important camp along the Kailash-Mansarovar, Chotta Kailash and Narayan
Ashram route.
Dharchula is at an elevation of 915 meters. It is popular for wool and woollen

The Ashrarn is situated at a distance of 14 kms from Tawaghat. The Ashrarn is
a spiritual cum socio-educational centre.
Jauljibi:
Situated at the confluence of River Gori and River Koli. Jauljibi is 61 kms
from Pithoragarh. During the autumn season, Jaulijibi pulsates with an important
trade fair which is an indication of the cultural and commercial prosperity
of the region.
Chipla Kedar:
Trekkers paradise, treasure of peace, Chipla Kedar is 34 kms from Tawaghat situated
above 4626 mts. from sea level. The place is full of scenic beauty.
