to make a detour to Kaladhungi. A romantic hamlet - 35 kms, far from the famous
Corbett National Park, Kaladhungi has been an inseparable part of the endless
tiger stories of Kumaon focussing around the legendary hunter Jim Corbett.
The significance of Kaladhungi is clear from the fact that Jim Corbett choose
this place as his residence. Today this unique home, is a comprehensive museum
housing souvenirs, relics, momentos related to Jim Corbett and his famous exploits.

Corbett Water Fall:
4 kms from Kaladhungi, on the Kaladhungi - Ramnagar highway, falls at leisure.
Corbett Water Falls. Surrounded by dense forests, pin drop silence, this 20
mts. high fall is simply a sight to behold! Famous as the ideal camping hide
out, this spot now has become a major tourist attraction.
Trekking in the forests, bird watching at peace or nature walks at leisure are
the only routine and time pass at Corbett Falls. The forest department has taken
all necessary steps to provide all amenities and facilities to promote Corbett
Falls as a picnic spot with the difference. Regular public and private transport
services makes this spot the convenient perch for nature enthusiasts and peace
seekers.
Garjia Devi Temple:
An ancient temple of Garjia Devi is worth a visit. Ramnagar is 30 kms. from
Kaladhungi, 13 kms, from Ramnagar on the way to Dikhala Garjia Devi temple is
situated on a huge rock in the midst of river Kosi. A large fair is held here
on Karthik Purnima.
Corbett National Park:
Country's first wildlife park is 18 kms from Ramnagar end main Dikhala complex
is 52 kms, from Ramnagar.
Other excursions are Rarnnagar-50 kms, Nainital-33 kms, Bhlmtal-49 kms. Haldwanl-55
kms.
