Rudranath is situated at an elevation of 2286 mts.
Amidst spectacular meadows with an amazing varity of flowers, Rudranath is one
of the panch Kedars. To reach this place one has to first go to village sagar
(4kms. by bus from Gopeshwar ) and then trek 20kms. from there.
At the temple of Rudranath, the face of Lord shiva is worshipped in a natural
rock temple as in Neelkanth.
From Rudranath one can get a panoramic view of the snow bound mountain peaks
of Hathi, Hanuman and Trishul.
In the months of August & September, the 8kms. to Rudranath overflows with
an exotic variety of flowers.
